We’re here to use our experience, in the fast-paced world of technology, to expose these biases and open our minds to the possibilities that are helping shape our tomorrow.

My name is Dan Jones. I'm a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead at Microsoft's Xbox organization. I have more than 18 years of professional experience building solutions for more than 50 different companies, from fortune 500 to small startups, across various industries, like FinTech, communications, human resources, signal intelligence, gaming, e-commerce, and aerospace and defense. With more than 200 code bases under my belt, I have seen a wide range of software solutions and team dynamics. It's been a fun ride so far and I hope to share some of my experiences with you.

With me is my partner Chioke Aarhus, a fellow software engineer at Microsoft and a young up-and-comer who has excelled faster than anyone I've worked with to date. In only a few short years, he's clawed his way to the top and continues to dominate as he moves forward in his career. His attention to detail and analytical mind has guided him to success working on some of the biggest projects using data and AI to drive decisions for massive impact.

We both come from unconventional backgrounds and see opportunities in even the most dire situations. We are survivors and have found that to get to the top, it takes guts and some unconventional thinking. We have acquired access to amazing resources and valuable principles over the years and we ask that you join us as we embark on this journey to dig into the foundation of rising to the top and pursuing your dreams.
